FragSocial is a fragrance discovery, review, and peer-to-peer marketplace platform. We connect fragrance enthusiasts — to reviews, to the knowledge graph, and to each other as buyers and sellers. We do not sell fragrances ourselves, do not hold inventory, and are not a retailer.

The FragSocial marketplace connects buyers and sellers. It is not an escrow service, a payment processor, an authenticity guarantor, or a delivery agent.

• All transactions are directly between buyer and seller. FragSocial is not a party to any sale.
• We hold no liability for product authenticity, delivery, payment disputes, or the outcome of any transaction.
• Seller verification (phone / identity) confirms who the seller is — it does not authenticate the products they sell. We state this clearly on every seller profile.
• Shipping and carrier compliance — including rules around shipping alcohol and fragrance — is the seller's sole responsibility.

If you have a dispute with a seller, you can report them using the flag tool on their listing or profile. We investigate reports and take action against bad actors, but we cannot mediate or reverse individual transactions.

The fragrance catalog on FragSocial — perfume names, note pyramids, accords, release years, concentrations, and brand information — is factual data compiled from publicly available sources and official brand websites. FragSocial does not claim ownership of this information.

All brand names, product names, and trademarks are the property of their respective owners. FragSocial is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any fragrance brand unless explicitly stated.

Where a note or accord entry includes a source citation, that link points to the official brand page it was sourced from. Community-contributed corrections are attributed to the contributor. If you believe any catalog entry is incorrect or infringes on rights you hold, please use the "Suggest a correction" link on the relevant page or contact us at grievance@fragsocial.com.

Perfume pages include "Where to buy" links to external retailers. These links may carry affiliate tracking codes. When you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate links are always labelled clearly.

FragSocial is built on genuine content. The following are grounds for enforcement:

• Fake reviews — reviews you did not write in good faith, or for fragrances you have not smelled.
• Spam — posting the same content repeatedly, using the platform to advertise off-platform businesses, or bulk-contacting sellers without genuine intent to buy.
• Harassment — targeting another user with threats, personal attacks, or coordinated downvoting.
• Counterfeit listings — listing fragrance that you know or suspect to be counterfeit.
• Impersonation — impersonating another person or brand in your profile or listings.
• Multiple accounts — creating secondary accounts to evade a ban or to inflate your reputation.

Violations lead to graduated enforcement: warning → read-only → shadow ban → permanent ban. Severe or repeated violations may skip straight to a permanent ban.

You retain ownership of content you post — reviews, discussion threads, comments, and photos. By posting, you grant FragSocial a worldwide, royalty-free license to display, store, and distribute that content as part of the platform.

On account deletion, your content stays on the platform re-attributed to "[deleted]." If you want content removed, edit or delete it yourself before closing your account. See our Privacy Policy for the full deletion model.

You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of what you post. Do not post content you do not have the right to share (copyrighted photos, private information about others, etc.).

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.

New accounts have a short trust ramp: review and seller-contact features unlock after the first week. This is to limit spam, not to gatekeep genuine users.

As a seller on FragSocial you agree to:

• List only fragrances you own and intend to sell. No consignment listings for third parties.
• Describe your items accurately — concentration, fill level, batch, condition. Misrepresentation is grounds for removal and ban.
• Not list anything you know or believe to be counterfeit. Doing so exposes you to civil and criminal liability and an immediate permanent ban.
• Comply with all applicable laws for shipping fragrance (India Post / private carrier rules on flammable liquids; customs declarations if shipping internationally).

To report a seller, use the flag tool on their listing or profile. To appeal a moderation action against your account, use the appeal link in the notification you received.

FragSocial is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties and liability for losses arising from your use of the platform, any transaction between users, or any third-party content.

We are not responsible for the behaviour of other users, the quality or authenticity of items sold, or the performance of external links and retailers.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

We may update these terms. When we do, the version number and "last updated" date at the top of this page will change. Significant changes will be announced in-app. Continued use of FragSocial after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
